The Chardi Kala Project and Interfaith Community

The Chardi Kala Project hosts and participates in Interfaith and community building events. We created  "Better Together" with Black Lives Matter of Lynden, Washington" as well as the ONE Whatcom! event, celebrating the Lummi Nation, Nooksack Nation, and the immigrant cultures to this region.  We work with the Whatcom Racial Equity Commission and give presentations about Sikhs and Sikhi to  civic leaders, clubs, schools and churches alike -  to help everyone understand, and come to respect and love their Sikh neighbors as their Sikh neighbors love and respect them.

The Chardi Kala Project hosts (via Zoom) a weekly cross-cultural circle, and we participate with Interfaith leaders from around the world, joining in their Interfaith Circles and prayer vigils.
