Dr. Kirpal Singh and Dr. Phyllis Singh
The Chardi Kala Project Founders
“Our hope is to inspire others to fight hate crimes with education by creating similar projects in your communities.”
In response to increasing discriminatory actions against Sikh Americans, Dr. Kirpal Singh and Dr. Phyllis Singh have resolved to develop and support the Chardi Kala Program in Washington State.
Their experience in the global interfaith community has shown that the best way to build understanding between different cultures is through education and connection.
It is through their generosity that the Chardi Kala Program has piloted K-12 educational programs and well as community events.
